At DGI, sustainability is paramount and we are committed to a greener future. As part of FM Group, we are members of the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI), a sustainability initiative for floriculture. It represents the environmental certification for consciously sustainable growers. Together with the other members, we aim for a 90% sustainable trade by 2025.
Growers with FSI certification apply sustainable techniques and initiatives. From using heat pumps and LED lighting to recycling water and manufacturing sustainable packaging from residual materials. Even natural weed control using chickens is among the options.
