Why houseplants are the perfect solution after the holidays
In the distance we can already hear the bells ringing and smell the pine needles; the magical time called Christmas is upon us again. Go wild with lights, floral foam and seasonal items to bring the Christmas spirit back into the shops. In this blog post, we present 10 must-haves that you want to offer your customers for a complete and on-trend Christmas. Instantly a good checklist to complete your Christmas order!
Start your Christmas floral journey with pastel-coloured flowers. Soft pinks, peaches and lavender flowers add a touch of romance to Christmas arrangements. Pastels are totally contemporary and should therefore not be missed to complete this year's Christmas deco.

Eucalyptus is a fine green choice for Christmas. The silvery-green leaves not only go well with pastel-coloured flowers, but also give your creations a fresh aroma. Something different from the eternal pine scent! ;)
Incorporating cotton into a Christmas floral arrangement evokes a cosy, farmhouse-inspired atmosphere that complements pastel shades beautifully. With the fluffy texture of cotton bolls, you bring beautiful contrast.

Dried poppies are a fun addition to your Christmas creation to add height differences, for example. Their striking appearance and earthy tones add a touch of rustic charm to creations.
For a more classic-rustic look, opt for wooden side pieces. This will nicely fill up a Christmas creation and add a slightly tough touch to sweet pastel colours.

Drywall's delicate, cloud-like appearance makes it a great product to add volume to your creations. Also, opt for the pastel-coloured varieties to reinforce the theme. Nothing wrong with a little extra colour!
As you know as a florist, floral foam is essential during the Christmas season. Floral foam provides a stable base for creations. Think green and opt for the -ironically, usually brown- organic variety for a more sustainable choice.

It is impossible to imagine the Christmas season without it; the amaryllis! Available in many different colours, for creative use in Christmas creations. Nice are for example the mixed varieties, to add a playful hint.
To accent the pastel colour, add a pop of colour. Here, we worked with a pink nerine, but you can also choose pretty phalaenopsis or anthurium to create this nuance.

What's Christmas without lights? Go for different shapes and colours, and don't forget the candlesticks!
