In preparation for the World Skills Lyon, Kim and her mentor Björn Kroner developed a special hydrangea creation for FleuraMetz. They created a futuristic design by combining the hydrangea Verena classic with smaller, softer flowers such as phalaenopsis, gloriosa and dianthus. Besides a futuristic look, the arrangement also has elegance, through the use of elements of iron wire and glass. This creation not only illustrates her craftsmanship, but also her ability to think innovatively and creatively within floral design.

19-year-old Kim Bücholdt from Leipzig is taking part in World Skills Lyon 2024, where she will showcase her talent in floral design. Working at La Floria in Zwickau, she creates beautiful bouquets and decorations every day. Inspired by her mother and guided by her motto "Be grateful and always keep developing yourself," Kim strives for continuous growth. With support from coach Björn Kroner and proud sponsor Fleurametz, she is ready to shine. Follow our blog for more updates on Kim's achievements on this world stage.
